SILIKE SILIMER 5065 is a high-performance slip and anti-blocking masterbatch based on a PP copolymer carrier, formulated with proprietary copolymerized polysiloxane as the slip component and synthetic silicon dioxide as the anti-blocking agent. It is designed for CPP films, oriented flat films, co-extrusion films, and other polypropylene-based applications.

This super slip and anti-blocking masterbatch significantly improves film smoothness, reduces blocking, and enhances lubrication during processing, lowering both dynamic and static coefficients of friction (COF) for smoother surfaces and better handling. The copolymerized polysiloxane structure ensures excellent compatibility with the resin matrix, shows low migration, and has no precipitation, no stickiness, and no impact on film transparency, making it ideal for demanding packaging applications.

Description

SILIKE SILIMER 5065 is a super slip and anti-blocking masterbatch based on long-chain alkyl-modified siloxane combined with anti-blocking silicon dioxide. It is primarily used in polypropylene films, including CPP films, oriented flat films, and other PP-based packaging applications.

This slip and anti-blocking additive significantly improves film smoothness and anti-blocking performance while providing processing lubrication, reducing both dynamic and static coefficients of friction (COF) for smoother film surfaces and improved handling.

SILIMER 5065 features a specially designed structure with excellent compatibility with the matrix resin, showing no precipitation, no stickiness, and no impact on film transparency.

How to use

To achieve optimal slip and anti-blocking performance, it should be incorporated directly into the surface layer of the plastic film, with a recommended dosage of 1–6%.

Processing Note: Thanks to its excellent processing properties, initial extrusion may release residual material from equipment dead spots, which can temporarily increase the appearance of specks or gel points on the film. This is a transient effect, and film performance stabilizes once steady-state processing is achieved, with no lasting impact on clarity, slip, or anti-blocking properties.

Transportation & Storage

This product could be transported as non-hazardous chemical. It is recommended to be stored in a dry and cool area with a storage temperature below 50°C to avoid agglomeration. The package must be well sealed after each use to prevent the product from being affected by moisture. 

Package & Shelf life

The standard packaging is a craft paper bag with PE inner bag with net weight of 25kg. Original characteristics remain intact for 12 months from the production date if kept in recommend storage.
