Silicone wax is a newly developed modified silicone product, which contains both silicone chain and some active functional groups in its molecular structure. It plays an important role in the processing of plastics and elastomers. Moreover, compared with ultra-high molecular weight silicone masterbatch, silicone wax products have lower molecular weight, easy to migrate without precipitation to the surface in plastics and elastomers, due to the active functional groups in the molecules that can play an anchoring role in the plastic and elastomer. Silicone wax can benefit to the improvement of processing and modify surface properties of PE, PP, PET, PC, PE, ABS, PS, PMMA, PC/ABS, TPE, TPU, TPV, etc..which achieve the desired performance with a small dosage.
