1. When applied in polypropylene films, SF200 significantly improves film slip performance, reduces blocking, and prevents film sticking during production. It greatly lowers the dynamic and static coefficients of friction, enhancing surface smoothness.
2. The polysiloxane structure ensures long-lasting slip performance even under extreme high-temperature conditions.
3. For release films, it improves peel properties, reducing peel force and minimizing peel residue.
4. The ultra-high molecular weight polysiloxane intertwines with the matrix resin through long molecular chains, preventing migration or precipitation and effectively avoiding powdering or blooming on the film surface.
5.It maintains low friction under high-temperature environments, making it suitable for high-speed packaging applications requiring excellent hot-slip performance, such as single-pack cigarette films.
6. The organosilicon segments in the slip agent provide good processing lubrication, improving extrusion efficiency and enhancing overall processing performance.
SF200 Super Slip Masterbatch is suitable for BOPP films, CPP films, cast films, co-extrusion films, and oriented flat films requiring stable slip and anti-blocking performance. It is widely used in high-speed cigarette packaging films, food laminated and composite packaging films, apparel and garment packaging films, consumer goods packaging films, industrial packaging films, flexible packaging films, as well as high-speed FFS (Form-Fill-Seal) packaging lines.
To achieve optimal slip performance, it should be directly added to the film skin layer at a recommended dosage of 2–10%. This product contains only the slip agent and can be combined with anti-blocking agents independently according to specific film requirements.
This product could be transported as non-hazardous chemical. It is recommended to be stored in a dry and cool area with a storage temperature below 50°C to avoid agglomeration. The package must be well sealed after each use to prevent the product from being affected by moisture.
The standard packaging is a craft paper bag with PE inner bag with net weight of 25kg. Original characteristics remain intact for 12 months from the production date if kept in recommend storage.
Frequently Asked Questions About SF200 Super Slip Masterbatch f for BOPP, CPP, and Polypropylene Films
Q1: What is the SF200 slip masterbatch used for in PP films?
SF200 improves slip, reduces blocking, and enhances film handling for BOPP, CPP, and other PP-based packaging films.
Q2: How does SF200 enhance hot-slip performance?
The ultra-high molecular weight polysiloxane provides stable slip under high temperatures, ideal for high-speed cigarette film packaging.
Q3: Can SF200 prevent film powdering or bloom?
Yes, the long-chain polysiloxane intertwines with the resin matrix, minimizing migration and preventing surface precipitation.
Q4: How should SF200 be added to films?
Direct addition to the film surface layer is recommended at a 2–10% dosage. The product contains only the slip agent and can be combined with anti-blocking agents independently.
Q5: Does SF200 affect transparency, printing, or lamination?
No, it maintains film transparency and is compatible with downstream converting processes, including printing, lamination, and heat sealing.
Q6: Is SF200 suitable for high-speed production lines?
