Description

SILIMER 6560 is a high-performance modified silicone wax and multifunctional additive engineered to enhance processing, surface quality, and extrusion efficiency across a wide range of polymer systems. Applications

SILIMER 6560 can enhance the compatibility of pigments, filler powders, and functional additives with the resin system, maintaining a stable dispersion of powders throughout processing. Additionally, it reduces melt viscosity, lowers extruder torque and extrusion pressure, and improves overall processing performance with excellent lubricity. The addition of SILIMER 6560 also enhances the demolding properties of finished products, while improving surface feel and providing a smooth, premium texture.

How to use

It is recommended to mix SIMILER 6560 with the formulation system in proportion and granulate before use.

When used for dispersion of flame retardants, pigments, or filler powders, the recommended addition amount is 0.5%~4% of the powder. When used for processing plastics that are sensitive to moisture, please dry at 120℃ for 2-4 hours.

Transportation & Storage

This product could be transported as non-hazardous chemical. It is recommended to be stored in a dry and cool area with a storage temperature below 40°C to avoid agglomeration. The package must be well sealed after each use to prevent the product from being affected by moisture.
