PFAS-Free And Fluorine-Free Polymer Processing Aids(PPA) SILIMER 9400 For Polyolefins Film Extrusion

SILIKE SILIMER 9400 is a PFAS-free and fluorine-free polymer processing additive designed for use in PE, PP, and other plastic and rubber formulations. Featuring polar functional groups and a specially engineered structure, it significantly improves processing performance by enhancing melt flow, reducing die drool, and minimizing melt fracture issues.

Thanks to its excellent compatibility with the base resin, SILIMER 9400 ensures uniform dispersion without precipitation, maintaining the product’s surface quality and appearance. It does not interfere with surface treatments such as printing or lamination.

Ideal for applications in polyolefins and recycled resins, blown film, cast film, multilayer film, fiber and monofilament extrusion, cable and pipe extrusion, masterbatch production, and compounding. SILIMER 9400 is an environmentally safe alternative to traditional fluorinated PPAs.

Description

SILIMER 9400 is a PFAS-free and Fluorine-Free polymer processing additive containing polar functional groups, used in PE, PP, and other plastic and rubber products, which can significantly improve processing and release, reduce die drool, and improve melt rupture problems, so the product reduction is better. At the same time, PFAS-Free additive  SILIMER 9400 has a special structure, good compatibility with the matrix resin, no precipitation, no impact on the appearance of the product, and surface treatment.

How to use

PFAS- free PPA SILIMER 9400 can be premixed with masterbatch, powder, etc., can also be added in proportion to produce masterbatch. SILIMER 9200 has good high temperature resistance properties and can be used as an additive for polyolefin and engineering plastics. The recommended dosage is 0.1%~5%. The amount used depends on the composition of the polymer formula.

Transportation & Storage

This product could be transported as non-hazardous chemical. It is recommended to be stored in a dry and cool area with a storage temperature below 50 ° C to avoid agglomeration. The package must be well sealed after each use to prevent the product from being affected by moisture. 

Package & Shelf life

The standard packaging is a craft paper bag with PE inner bag with net weight of 25kg. Original characteristics remain intact for 24 months from the production date if kept in recommend storage.
