Snapelastomer Slip-&Wear-Resistant Functional Additive
Snapelastomer is SILIKE’s next-generation slip-resistant and wear-resistant elastomer. It is a high-efficiency functional additive developed to eliminate the long-standing trade-off between traction and abrasion resistance in footwear materials.
When applied in EVA foaming and TPU sole systems, it leverages a viscoelastic mechanism to enhance surface friction while improving wear durability. Unlike conventional slip and anti-abrasion additives that often compromise grip over time, Snapelastomer delivers simultaneous improvements in dry and wet slip resistance, abrasion performance, and long-term stability.
This enables footwear manufacturers to achieve both durability and traction within a single material system—without compromise.
